WAKETHESILENCE India

We donated a guitar to Crossroads Ministries, and we received this letter the other day!

Dear Jonathan,

My husband and I are serving in northern India, working closely with a school and hospital in the foothills of the Himalayas. Just before we left the US in 2008, I attended Carl Cartee's first worship conference in Gatlinburg, TN, called 'Inspire.' It was there that our church worship team first heard about what you do at Wake the Silence.

My good friend Justin Brock (with Crossroads Ministries) contacted you recently to request that you consider donating a guitar that we could use with our church youth group and at the school. We are overflowing with young men that are growing both in their guitar skills and in their relationships with Christ. Your organization graciously sent that guitar, and I want you to know that it is being used often to worship the Lord in this place.

Today was the first time we had the opportunity to plug it into an amp. Our church just experienced their first youth-led meeting here this morning. It was beautiful, and we really appreciated having such a great instrument to use.

Thank you so very much for what you're doing around the world, and for allowing us to be blessed through your ministry.

Joyfully,
Charlene Campbell
